I swear I'm going to kill things if the fourth anniversary is all about Linkara and his savior of the universe bullshit. I love the other plotlines because they usually highlight how wonderfully pathetic the people are, but that's the reason why I stopped watching him. Gimme more awesome character dynamics instead.

I don't think you have much to worry about. Doug (and to a lesser extent, Rob) writes all the annual movies, and he tries to keep everyone's individual storylines out of them. Characters are okay (Insano, Mechakara, Chester A. Bum, etc), but he tries to keep the actual story arcs separate entities from the anniversary specials.

Although I must say, it'd be neat if they continue down the path and the 4th anniversary special ends up a zombie/horror pastiche. Perfect opportunity to bring in Black Lantern Spoony.

By the looks of things he seems to pay the most attention to Lindsay's stuff, which is kinda sweet. Oh I know, and I trust 'em, but might as well get my "sky will fall!" panic out the way. :)
