Actually, Ivan -who is close to Karina in age- admires Kotetsu as well, and was helped by him a great deal.

Do people ship Kotetsu and Ivan? No.

I think part of that is because they're so busy shipping Ivan with Keith. Or Antonio. Or Yuri.

And Ivan/Keith only barely DOESN'T skeeve me out the way that Kotetsu/Karina would (and I mean actual Kotetsu/Karina, not just her crush on him, which is adorable and sad) because we don't really know how old either of them are, even though Ivan acts like a teenager... and Keith is, well, Keith. His dog is probably more capable of emotional manipulation than he is. XD

I've seen fics where Ivan crushes on Kotetsu because Kotetsu's Japanese and Ivan is the super-Japan-fanboy, though. I'd be skeeved out if Kotetsu returned his feelings the same way I would if he returned Karina's... but since Kotetsu's just as oblivious in those fics, and Ivan is a giant weeaboo dork, it's hilarious instead. :D

I ignore fics, I just raid pixiv and doujinshi. I don't like Keith/Ivan porn because it's just as NOPE as sexual Kotetsu/Karina. Keith thinks a freaking gay bar is a cafe ffs.

Ivan is 18 at the start of the series and 20 at the end. So he's an adult, he's just really awkward.
Dunno about Keith; he's definitely younger than Kotetsu, but older than Barnaby. My personal headcanon puts him at 25 at the start of the series and 27 towards the end, but yeah, anyone else's guess is as good as mine.

Keith/Ivan porn creeps me out even though I love the pairing, because, well, Keith. I don't like T&B porn in general, actually, no matter who the characters involved are.
