FYI, it's Richard Castle, from the TV show Castle, who's a very successful author of crime novels. He said that quote in the secret when his daughter asks him why he put the first rejection letter he ever got from a publisher (when he just started writing) in a frame over his desk, and he goes on about how that rejection only made him want to continue writing more.

Hooray for you, anon! That was a really great moment.

Although, I think he says it took him something like 16 rejections...which can happen, but I usually hear it takes 30-50 (which is probably because he sent in his novel during the time before internet...). So your wait might be faster, but it'll be well worth it!
