My favorite zombie movie! I watched it too when I was young, that thing freaked me out for a long time, so I don't blame you. Come on, a super creepy looking zombie who is smart enough to create a pully to get the door off the closet you are hiding in? Scary shit right dere.

Maybe you should spruce up your basement then? Paint it a cheerful color, put loads of lighting fixtures in there, shift the furniture and boxes around so there are no dark corners, stick up nice things on the wall. Invite your friends to help if you don't want to be down there alone.

I don't have a particular fear of undead thingies coming to eat me, but my apartment also has a creepy laundry basement.

It doesn't help that someone so Charmingly spray painted the words "Anal Rape" on the walls. It almost makes me happy that the washers/dryers are all broken and the fucker STILL hasn't fixed them. Almost.
