...why is it so surprising to you that someone might take a dislike to Disney films? I know I do.

Maybe because Disney has made so many movies in so many different genres of so much differing quality. It's pretty strange to hate every single Disney movie ever made. Not unless you're going out of your way to hate them just because they're made by Disney.

Most Disney movies operate on the same moral principle though, and while I dislike some of them (Fox and the Hound being one of them) I can't stand 99% of them.

Language evolves. The word "hate" is rarely used in its proper way anymore. I don't think OP meant she loathes the Disney movies.

Though I do dislike them an intense amount because their moral just bothers me, but that's a discussion for another day.

You're like me. I have never been a fan of Disney movies. As a kid I thought they were too mushy and now as an adult I really dislike their moral.

So yeah... SO sorry that I don't like Disney movies. It's not like it has anything to do with personal opinions and such... -_-
