(Anonymous) 2011-10-15 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)I used to hate Disney when I was in my pre-teens because that's when I really started thinking what kind of a message they were sending to us viewers. And I only learned to appreciate them, flaws and all, just five years ago. I'm 21 now.
I still hate Disney as a company and as a brand, but I love the older animated movies, i.e., the 'classics'. Just imagining how much work went into making them gives me shivers... (I don't think Disney is the best when it comes to older animation, but it's pretty high up there on my list.)
