IAWTC. I like Martha, I just wish they'd drop the I LOVE THE DOCTOR storyline because it's old and isn't going anywhere. She's awesome when she's by herself, but otherwise she hasn't done a whole lot of exploring on her own or anything else. Which is why I am so jazzed for what happens in the season finale considering what happened.

Yes! I would have been okay with it if it had started after she had been on the show for longer than two episodes! It just came so quickly, so there was no build-up or time to adjust.

She's awesome when she's by herself, but otherwise she hasn't done a whole lot of exploring on her own or anything else.

If only she would wander off stupidly like Rose did all the time, then she could be awesome more often (I loved Rose, but girlfriend had a tendency to get distracted by shiny objects).

YES! I never did understand why she was suddenly "I LOVE HIM" after a couple of episodes. I mean, he kissed her sure, but that's not enough to fall in love with a man who is a 900 year old time traveling alien. It would have been fine if she had more time to get to know him, but... Yeah, so, tl;dr version is "I completely agree with you."

Hahaha, Rose always managed to get herself into the worst messes, but that was when she really shone. I was hoping Martha would do that, too, but she sticks so close to the Doctor's side we rarely get to see her being cool on her own. Instead it's her following whatever directions she gets.

Oh and do you mind if I add you on LJ? It's rare that I find people who share the same Doctor Who views as I do.

It would have been fine if she had more time to get to know him, but...

Yeah! I get having a crush on him right away, because, you know, it's David effing Tennant. But what they should have done was have her get this crush on him, spend some time with him, realize that he's got more issues than National Geographic and back off, and then bring fall back in love a season later when she knew him better. .:shakes tiny fist at sky:. Damn you, RTD, for screwing up this character when I really wanted to like her.

Sure; I don't talk about Who on lj a ton, mostly just school and sometimes politics (I live in DC) and other TV. If that sounds horribly boring, feel free to take back that friends request, I won't be offended.

God, yeah, David Tennant is so hot. D: And that would have been an amazing way to run the storyline - I would have liked that a lot better. I like Martha, but she really needs to get a chance to stand on her own.

XD And I rarely talk about Who on my journal either, just really random stuff all the time. :3
