No, I couldn't figure it out for ages, either. (And didn't until I joined this comm.)

I think if you just type in [font][/font] - replace the square brackets with those triangular HTML-ish ones, of course - and then post it you'll end up with a blank comment. I think that's how I do it. Lemme check.

Yes, that was indeed how I did it.

Type [font][/font] into the comment field, using HTML brackets. Don't write anything in between the brackets, needless to say. That should get you a blank comment like the one above.
