30. AGREED YES THANK YOU. I am SO TIRED of Sasuke basically RAPING little femme!Narutos (he says no and is sobbing; actual non con doesn't count), and then being like "lol he liked it anyway the end". Or Naruto constantly crying and Sasuke like...attacking him with his penis. I don't understand it. If you like slash/yaoi/whatever...then why make it into het? e_e But yes, totally agreed.

No no no. I must have come off wrong. Naruto gets drawn very girly, like the secret said. Like a girl with a penis. And when they do this, they also often make him spend half the doujinshi/fic/fanart/etc crying. It becomes silly and unattractive, really. It's just my preference that if it's a male character then it's portrayed as, you know, male. I guess it's just stylistic differences--a less extreme bishounen thing because Naruto really is quite masculine.

So, not so much het in general as bad, stereotypical cliche-ridden romance novel het where the guy is strong and manly and the girl is weak and delicate and clingy, and the sex is semi-consensual at best and it's debatable if you're actually reading about an actual relationship or how one woman learned to stop worrying and love Stockholm Syndrome? Because I think we can pretty much all agree that that kind of het is shitty to the nth degree and there should be less of it in actual het, never mind it getting into the boysmut where it very definitely doesn't belong.

*is suddenly reminded of Fanon!Ken*

... Okay, KILL.

HAHA. Oh fanon!Ken. Yes, exactly. I guess, all in all, it just boils down to "Please write/draw in character fan fiction/fan art!" really. XD But that may be asking too much.

Ohhh. I do think it's interesting if these people who draw Naruto submissive and tiny and crying think "I'm drawing him like a girl." I don't know any real girls like that.. I'd just say a very passive boy..

Yeah, I see what you're saying there. I think what it really comes down to is the desired portrayal of Naruto as someone submissive to Sasuke when he really is an equal. The problem is being out of character. Naruto ISN'T a passive boy, so why make him this little tiny, crying stereotype.
I guess people think more along the lines of "I'm drawing him really cute!" rather than a girl, but, because of the manga-influenced style, turns out exceedingly feminine.
