It's Dante. He's so ridiculously over-the-top and in love with himself he would wear chaps. And think he's hawt while doing so. :D

That's what makes Old Dante so fun though. He's such a silly and fun character who knows he's silly and fun. Hell, in the intro to Devil May Cry 3 he kills a bunch of demons while shirtless and with a pizza in his mouth. :D

Well I am def not a member of the demographic at which these games are aimed, but tbh they should just keep him dressed like that and maybe I'd like. Watch someone play it or something.

I think there's an option where you can play the whole game as shirtless!Dante. If there's something Capcom are good at, it's male fanservice. :D

But then again, DMC3 was basically one big fanservice game. Hellooooo Vergil. Hellooooo brothers who keep getting a little too close to each other.

Lol. I'm ngl the fandom really does take this series too seriously at times. I doubt even the creators take the series that seriously. I mean, c'mon/i>, one of Dante's weapons is a freaking guitar made from the soul of a dead half-naked vampire which, upon receiving, he shamelessly rocks the fuck out until he faints...



And how could we forget the wonderful "first I whip it out...then I thrust it!" scene.
