Ha, right! So, theoretically we have,

1. Harry and Ron having a tiff.
-- Possibility of Mrs. Weasley finding out.

2. Harry and Ron un-tiffing.
-- No one going home during Winter Vacation
-- The possibility that none of the Weasley boys [at school] are good letter writers.
-- Ginny off making her own friends.

3. The rumors that Hermione is flirting with both Viktor and Rob
-- No way for Mrs. Weasley to really know that Ron and Harry made up.

4. Easter, the tiny egg.

5. Mrs. Weasley meeting up with everyone in person, and finding out the truth.

I think it's a workable possibility. It still doesn't excuse Mrs. W., but if there is any way that this is possibly what might have happened maybe, it would explain a lot...

The only thing is... It's not actually canon. It's all maybes and theories and possibilies, but there's no actually evidence to back it up. ^_^;

Though I do know that, when I re-read the books, I'm going to be looking for hints of Ron being a bad letter writer. >_>
