Yeah, I'm not feeling the Japanese thing, either. Dante is not a pretty boy. I mean, the closest we got to that was DMC3, but otherwise he's always been depicted as in his thirties (or older), with stubble and everything. Maybe it's the white hair and the coat? Not that I haven't seen American comics riddled with characters sharing similar traits.

This x1000. I don't know where all the bishie comparisons are coming from. The picture that the OP posted is about as "pretty" as Dante gets, and even then, he still looks like a fairly buff guy in his 30s who doesn't know how to properly shave.
