I really fell in love with her after seeing her in The Social Network (very brief role, but she made the most of it) and for all of the promotion for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

This photoshoot (http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/63606926.html) in particular really made me notice the resemblance.

But Lady Loki is just Loki in Sif's body, so if she appeared, she'd be played by Jaime Alexander.

Lady Loki doesn't look exactly like Sif, though. If she did everyone would have known she was wearing Sif's body.

Fisting KURT is not about penetration, nor is it to do with the superfice - it's to do with occupation of a space, with becoming joined, with swallowing not piercing... not to mention there's nothing to for KAROFSKY to penetrate, the anus being a hole that has never represented absence - to the contrary often over-flowing fullness but in bodily terms the muscle is the only thing to be penetrated and yet it opens up to the fist, providing more space, schlurping around KAROFSKY'S digits... to pierce the flesh with a sword or a bullet is to damage and destroy, to make a hole where none was before; whereas fisting, if done properly, is to make a whole where there was just hole in KURT before.

Meh, I've seen enough Hollywood sticks. She's got a pretty face, but in the photoshoot I can see ribs. Nothing kills sexy for me faster than that. (No offense to real women with visible ribs, but I am not obligated to find it sexy any more than I have to find back hair on women sexy)

Certainly, you're allowed to have your preferences, but I just don't think breast size should be a deciding factor in casting.

Well, why not? Part of comic-to-movie casting is about finding actors who fit the appearance. There's nothing wrong with Gabriel Iglesias, but I don't think he'd make a very convincing Thor or Loki without a great deal of CGI.

Because talent trumps breast size. What of Jaimie Alexander? She isn't as well endowed as Sif is in the comics, but that had no effect or bearing on her performance.

Granted, actors do have to make changes to play superheroes, which usually means bulking up and getting out the make-up and wigs (in the cases of Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston), but aside from some hard work, those aren't difficult to achieve. Even then, all the hard work in the world won't replicate the proportions of most male superheroes because they aren't realistically achievable. Ian McKellen doesn't have the kind of physique Magneto has in the comics, but in the end, it didn't matter because he was able to so capably embody the character.

As for the majority of working actresses, if you want someone who has the talent for the part, they aren't going to be able to physically resemble their character 100% without invasive plastic surgery. If they have the acting chops, I'm not going to care if their nose is slightly crooked or if their breasts aren't ridiculously huge.

Talent may trump breast size, I'm just saying that a flat chested Lady Loki is going to look as silly as a very plump unmuscular Thor/

They don't have to be "ridiculously huge" but I'm syaing SOME titties at all would be nice. I've known plenty of women with natural proportions much closer to Lady Loki than some willowy slender gymnastic looking actress. There is nothing wrong with a gymnastic looking body, just as there's nothing wrong with men who aren't as muscular as Chris Hemsworth as Thor, but when the character they're supposed to be portraying is supposed to look a certain way.

Lets put it this way, Hugh Laurie is a wonderful, amazing actor who would probably give an amazing performance as Sif. But does his talant trump the fact it would take more than a few beers to make him look like a warrior woman? You can't just flail "But it's TEH TALENTS! Not looks!" Unless you're talking about CGI suits or voice acting.

I'm not talking in extremes of an overweight Thor or a middle-aged Englishman potraying a warrior goddess. Physicality is an important factor, and yes, the actor has to be able to fit the character as much as possible. However, an actor's appearance can't entirely resemble that of their fictional counterpart and some concessions have to be made. If they can embody the character's persona then I don't think it's an issue (such as Ian as Magneto, Matthew Goode as Ozymandias, and Idris Elba as Heimdall).

I still think Rooney would be an interesting (and yes, unconventional) choice as Lady Loki, if she were to ever be portrayed on film. I'm thinking in relation to Tom Hiddleston, a thin fellow who doesn't match the physicality of comics Loki, yet he more than ably played the part.

And I'll keep flailing, thanks. I'd also pay to see Hugh Laurie as Sif because the idea of it amuses me too much.
