Argh, yes, THIS. I was rewatching that the other day and it made me get annoyed all over again. In the book it makes total sense. In the movie it's just like what? People do not do that, in general. I could understand maybe theoretically if she had been subject to a lot of prejudice before so it was like, "Well, I've not heard this word but it's just one more way to belittle me," and the feeling would be familiar, but, clearly that is not Hermione.
