I don't know who that is, but I feel that way about most celebrities I like. I tend to not go "omg I want to date him" but more like "I REALLY want to be his/her best friend." So you're not alone there. :)

I have a hard time telling people apart, and until that Van Gogh opens his mouth in that episode, I always find myself thinking, Mark Gatiss!

And then I'm sad that it is not and a little bit relieved that I don't know who he is, so it's not flavoring his performance for me.

Normally I'm too intimidated by actors and directors to want to get within 30 feet of them, but for some reason Gatiss just seems very approachable. For one thing, I think he's got a fanficcer's sense of fun.
