I have no idea. I never really understood that. I can understand getting on a soap box for things in mainstream media, getting more equal representation of characters/pairings/orientations etc.

But Fandom is a hobby...people watch a show, they dig two characters together, they write about it...I tend to read only m/m pairings because I get enough of het in everything else that I read/watch.
