Wow, am I ever grateful for this secret. When my friends showed me this movie recently, they were *shocked* that I didn't see the slash, and tried to talk me into seeing it. In fact, one of them argued with me, practically berating me over it. I was starting to think maybe it was just me that didn't see it.
I'm a slasher, too, and I read and write slash fics in various fandoms. I just didn't see it here.
For those people who commented and said "what's wrong with seeing slash here?", or "your friend sounds great, I slash it, too!" -- that's fine, more power to you. But what bothers me is the fact that my friends implied that I was a bad fangirl for not seeing the slash in this movie.
Can't I just enjoy a movie without having to slash the characters?
