i just saw Crazy Stupid love yesterday and i loooooved it and i loved him too. I think everybody has that kind of character that you just really dislike but everybody else hates. it's normal.

i personally rly like him. ia about playing the same character over and over again tho.

He's in some stuff I like and can occasionally be endearing to me, but I don't think he's all that funny. (Constant second-hand embarrassment is just not my type of humor.)

I agree. I fully enjoyed all the delicious butthurt from the fans because he lost against Jim Parsons at the Emmy's. Deliciousssss. Like just because IT WAS HIS LAST YEAR OMFG!!! he deserved to win. Umm, no.

Man imo neither of them deserved to win. I like Jim Parsons, but I can't stand sheldon so I don't particularly find him funny.
(If I had to choose I would have given it to Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy
or even Johnny Galecki as Leonard Hofstadter but that's my personal taste in humor).

And more on topic, I agree with the qualification of "Little Miss Sunshine" -- I loved him in that movie, probably because he was playing against type.

I'd agree, probably with the addition of Dan in Real Life- his character in that was closer to his standard character, only written and played as though that character was a plausibly real person.

Huh. Where I'm from everyone either (mildly) dislikes him, is indefferent about him or doesn't even know who he is.
I like him, but only because I thought his performance in Little Miss Sunshine was brilliant, and because I got to see him kiss Dwayne Johnson in the gayest spy movie ever Get Smart.

I liked him in th 40 year old virgin and little miss sunshine (mainly little miss sunshine), and he had his moments in the office, but in general, I agree with you.

I find him insanely boring. Seriously I haven't been able to watch one of his movies to the end, they just fucking bore me.

During 40 year old virgin I actually had to leave the movie theater, it was way too boring for me.

I have yet to see him in anything funny either, but I also haven't seen everything he's in. I just don't like him enough to give him that chance of maybe-someday being funny. (which is weird because he's got such a deadpan/sarcastic delivery, which is exactly like my sense of humor, but he's just... not good at it? I don't know what it is)
