Totally know what you mean. I think SPN's a bit of fun (not in the fandom), but an episode does not pass without one or both of them taking their shirts off and oiling themselves up/getting soaking wet/flexing their muscles.

I guess the makers know their audience :/

Wow, what show are you watching, lol. They almost NEVER take their shirts off, especially Dean. In fact, you can count on one hand the number of times Dean has been shirtless or even in one layer of shirt! Sam has been shirtless more often, but not more than 5 or 6 times in six seasons. It's actually a running gag how many layers of clothes they wear! Totally the opposite of what you said.

I think I'm being baited here, so I'll post once more and stop. Don't want to feed the trolls after all, lol. They are rarely without shirts and there's no sense arguing with you since all one has to do is rent the DVDs and watch them. The evidence is there ;-) Their wardrobe consists of suits and flannel shirts and hoodies and jackets and jeans, etc.

They apparently have to wear multiple layers to hide padding for all the stunts they do. You're under a huge misconception about the show's content.

They do some stunts, but mostly the wardrobe is dictated by the characters - they have no home and live out of duffel bags, so sensible clothes and not much changing outfits works ;-) Plus they do film in Vancouver and aside from a few months at the beginning of the film schedule every season, it's a bit chilly; hence the lumberjack clothes, lol. I don't know if you were talking to me about having a misconception about the concept of the show - I certainly know what it is ;-) I have watched since the pilot and am still loving the brother relationship and interaction along with the plot lines ;-)
