Even if you try to hold in your feeling to be nice, it won't do anything. She probably doesn't even realize you feel hurt/annoyed by her, so not saying anything won't make her stop and it will only make you more pissed over time. You might as well just put it out in the open so you can hold her accountable next time she acts like that.

Ugh, I hate it when people do that. I mean, my friends don't really do that, but it's kind of hilarious when a random drive-by reviewer is all like "Hey! This isn't how it should be! My headcanon is the only way!" So annoying. It kind of reeks of entitlement.

The closest I get with any of my actual friends is discussing whether Crack Pairing X is part of our headcanons or not. If it is? Cool. If not? Also cool.

telling her she's being insensitive is the good friend thing to do. You don't have to be a douche about it, just tell her that it hurts your feelings, because it does. Letting her hurt you is not good for your friendship or either of you.
