Deadly Premonition got bad press. Many people were turned off by the gameplay and dated graphics, and many of the people who DID like it were emphasizing its ~OMG WACKY!!!~ comic elements. That kind of talk can put off people who are tired of games being sold on quirkiness. It also deprives the game- which, in its endgame, becomes gutwrenchingly powerful- of serious credit that it deserves.

I hope the whispers about an HD version come to fruit. It might rekindle interest.

I honestly never even heard of this game. Then again, I'm not that big on console games despite owning them. :/ It sounds interesting. I'm down for comedy horror survival gaming. I might give it a try if I see it in the used games section next time I'm in the store.

The Let's Play (http://lparchive.org/Deadly-Premonition/) of it produced some silly fanart, I think. And some cute little sprites, and music remixes, and about half the people who watched it ending up trying out that weird sandwich recipe and posting their reactions.

Deadly Premonition is my favourite game for the XBox 360. And I wish I could get it for the PS3 as well. XD I think York may also be one of my favourite video game characters, too. I wish more people knew about this game; and I've been trying to introduce my friends to it, because of its awesomeness.

Before you get any further - I am a firm believer that this game would've done a tad better if it actually had a functional manual that tells you some incredibly rage reducing things.

Go and do the radio quest. Go and get the wrench. Forgive yourself if you usually hate FAQs because both of these would make the game that much more playable
