If your friendship is going to be split up because you're in different (fictional!!!) houses, then you've gotta be the most petty Hufflepuff ever. If not: OP, maybe you need to examine the stance you take on relationships. That isn't healthy at all, nor (as was pointed out above me) is it loyal, which is a huge part of the point of being a Hufflepuff.

Besides, it's not like canon characters never made friends in different houses.
