I understand why people have a squick. I just don't understand why they think their squick is a matter of huge importance. People can't always control the kinks they have, and I'm not sure they should have to either, really.

Being bothered by other people's fapping patterns isn't social justice, it's just being grossed out. We all have involable rights to our gross-outs, and some of them make a lot of sense (like being grossed out by Nazi chic.) But don't make of that more than it is.

Obviously if these people were quietly not bothering us with their fapping patterns this whole thing would be less of an issue.

A squick? Being reminded of extreme human suffering and, in plenty of cases, personal loss, is not a squick. The fact that someone else gets off on your pain is a kick in the wound. Nonetheless, that's not what I'm talking about - I'm addressing the comment which couldn't understand why people freaked out over Nazi uniforms.
