Oh man. I guess I'd better keep up with all this stuff, because I plan on having kids someday! I don't want to outright ban them from ever using the internet, but I know that even if I teach them all the right things (for example, don't post personal information, and for the love of all that is holy DON'T POST NAKED PICS OF YOURSELF), I know from experience that kids don't always listen to their parents. I hope there's a way to monitor this shit without actually spying on them (because I do want to respect their privacy). I guess the only thing I can do is not let them have the internet in their rooms, but in an era where internet is on phones, my kids will probably think I'm the lamest parent ever.

Well, maybe they'll have more common sense than I did as a kid. SORRY FOR RANTING, INTERNET PERSON THAT I DON'T KNOW!

lol we had a school assembley on naked pics which basically went IF YOU SEND NUDES TO YOUR BOYFRIEND THEY WILL GO ON THE INTERNET AND EVERYONE WILL SEE THEM don't send nudes, kids

You know what scares me the most about that? If you send sexy pics to someone and you're underage, that makes you a FELON for distributing child porn. Some kids have actually been forced to register as sex offenders because of that shit.

well it's not as if the justice system makes any sense lately anymore, i mean-- either you're prosecuting people for fucking stupid things or you're not punishing them after a guilty verdict because that would INFRINGE THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS OMG
