people SHOULD be grateful for shitty jobs, because there are a fucking lot more people than there are jobs out there and having any job at all is pretty lucky.

This, times a hundred. In this economy, a job is a fucking job. No, I'm not doing what I want to for a living (the furthest from it, actually), but it keeps my creditors, rent collectors, power company, and telecommunications company happy right now. Sometimes, you have to work a shitty job because there is no other choice. When people are getting laid off left and right, losing their benefits, getting their hours cut, losing their fucking houses, and having to go hungry in order to make sure their families eat, all these entitled brats who think they're "above" the work they're doing need to shut the fuck up and be grateful they have income at all.
