...but I have little shame. There was a time when I was all "I WANNA BE A SLAYERS BNF!" so I force-fed myself that fic because I thought 1) Well everybody talks about it so it must be good and 2) I thought sucking up to the author would win me big points or whatever (lol).

I finished it and went "...screw that idea." But hey I guess there's one less person with delusions of internet grandeur around so it served SOME PURPOSE.

I'm still wincing that I didn't notice how blatant the bashing was the first time through. Oh, stupid teenager!me, you were so blind.

Eugene is on Deviantart. She hasn't updated in forever and a day, but it does have some of her stuff on it... last I checked anyway, which was a while back. I can't access it on the current computer I'm on, but as soon as I am, I'll post a link here.

I remember that fic. I will not fault the author for how bad it was, because chances are she's looked back on it now, covered her face in shame, and gone "Oh god I can't believe I wrote that..." Like all of us for the stuff we wrote ten years ago.
