There's nothing about it in a series -- and I'm normally all for weird pairings, I mean, I like as a pairing some characters who've never met. But there's got to be some... moderation, if you ask me. A pairing can be popular or it can be random, but if it's both, it's kind of like, "What are all of you doing shipping this so devotedly?"

I was just talking about it with a friend. My personal resistance (besides the huge surge of popularity over such an unfounded pairing) is that I feel like they don't jive -- Heero is the kind of emotional stunted where he needs patience and care to coax him into any sort of real reaction, and Duo in my head gets kind of frustrated by his lack of reaction before he could approach that point. He needs a reason to put that much effort into something and "maybe we'd be friends" isn't quite enough.

Why does so much of fandom make me cry? I can't stand it, gah. You'd think GW didn't have way, way too much plot from the way these clueless fic-fangirls write.
