She's telling the truth--sorta. We both knew the dude whose stepmom was the writer in high school--though chocomimi is exaggerating in the fact that she never saw any money from it, I think. From what I understand, they gipped her out of the money from the video games even though they (apparently?) sold really well and she didn't get much for writing for the series.
