Sorry to spam with non-fandom related things, but I felt this was important enough to warrant a post. Somebody was erroneously namedropped in the thread in yesterday's post regarding a rapist, and is dealing with the fallout of it now -

Seriously guys, please doublecheck before dropping actual names/usernames in serious issues like this. I'm all for people being safe, but not for dragging innocent people through the mud as collateral damage. These two people are pretty obviously not the same person.

That comment just makes me wonder how much said anon actually knows about what actual consent means, and whether or not his ex-girlfriends actually consented or just put up with him because they had had enough.

MTE. That he thinks his ex-gfs would accuse him of rape says way more about him than it does about them.

My ex-girlfriend has accused me of rape, and more besides.
I think it says more about my taste in partners than it does about a gender as a whole.
