Sorry to spam with non-fandom related things, but I felt this was important enough to warrant a post. Somebody was erroneously namedropped in the thread in yesterday's post regarding a rapist, and is dealing with the fallout of it now -

Seriously guys, please doublecheck before dropping actual names/usernames in serious issues like this. I'm all for people being safe, but not for dragging innocent people through the mud as collateral damage. These two people are pretty obviously not the same person.

Thank you for making this post. The discovery that an innocent person had been dragged into this only makes the situation worse. Thanks for helping to correct it.
