And I kind of know how you mean, a little. I love "Humbling River", and it always is calming, but then I look at the lyrics, and afterwards I jsut feel kind of twitchy about the song. Like, I should be looking more deeply at it, ya know? ^^;

I'd say take good advice even if it wasn't meant for you. I know that I've gotten a lot of strengths from songs that are clearly intended for the empowerment of females ("I Will Survive", for instance.)
