I never really noticed that he has a lazy eeye, and looking at your pictures I still don't see it. Maybe I'm just missing something really obvious, or he hides it well. But, yeah, he's a BAMF, and good for you, OP!

It's hard to pick out in photos, because he has it under control most of the time. But when you see him in action it can be noticeable-it tends to drift, apparently (according to an interview) the more bored he gets. So if they wind up using, say take 22 of something, then it's definitely noticeable. But promo photos et al make it nearly unnoticeable because he's got it under control when he focuses. (I'm the same way. the less focus I have on something the more my eye drifts)

There's a bit near the end of Gatsby where he look straight into the camera and it's incredibly noticeable.

I've had one lazy my whole life, and I even got bullied for it. When I was younger, my eye doctor even suggested eye surgeries - for aesthetic reasons, not to improve my sight. I didn't feel like spending so much money on something so... inane. So instead he made me wear a eye-patch that was supposed to "correct" my eye, but didn't actually do shit. It was years after I stopped using it that my eye became better (50% of the time my lazy eye disappears and acts normal, but you can still always see my lazy eye in pictures). But the strange thing is, I never *really* cared how my eye looked to others. Even if I look like a total freak sometimes, people still call me pretty because they don't pay attention to it. They see other things. And I'm not even that pretty (fat, above average in the looks department).

So that's great, OP. You've finally realized having a lazy eye is not something to feel bad about. You were born with it, so you might as well rock it. Me? I use heavy eye make-up that really brings out my eyes, and I love it.
If grown-up people can't see past your lazy eye, then screw them. That's like making fun of a speech impediment or someone whose legs don't work properly.

I was just coming here to say this. I never noticed RSL's wonky eye until after someone pointed it out, and I'd watched him for a long time by then.

My brother has a lazy eye. He wore an eye patch when he was very young (like, two years old) but then started wearing glasses and now wears contacts (for something else - astigmatism I think). It's weird because I think the lazy eye went away when he was younger, maybe the glasses did something? I don't know that much about it.

I had to do the whole eyepatch thing, and wear glasses for being nearsighted, and it definitely improved it a lot.

Now you can hardly tell I have it if I'm focused, but if I get bored, or distracted, or drunk it becomes really, really noticeable.

Nothing to be ashamed about with having a lazy eye, OP! I have one; so does my husband. I guess I always thought it was kind of cool, actually. Almost like a really lame special power - being able to make your eyes look in two different directions at once. I'm used to it and wouldn't have it corrected for anything.

I've gotten pretty used to my lazy eye. Thankfully I was never picked on for that. Though I did get the occasional "Who, me?" confusion when I'd start talking to someone yet my right eye was looking elsewhere.
