I think my fluff has gotten better too since my depression really started to manifest TBH. IDK.

Depression makes writing better, just ask any ol' famous author from days of yore. Some were even alcoholics or drug fiends.






Maybe that's what my book needs. Rum and mescaline.

My writing is about the same whether I'm depressed or not, except if I'm depressed I often write much less because I'm depressed and can't be arsed.

Then again I'm not exactly Hemmingway in the first place, so there's that.

Sigh. I hear ya.

Of my stories, the one that unquestionably has gone the farthest, stirred up the most reaction, and gotten the most acclaim was written while I was clinically depressed. Boy, does it show in the story, too.

I tend to write about 50 billion times better when I'm depressed. They say you have to suffer to write, right?
