idk, I'm really enjoying it. mind you, it's pretty campy, but it's a an interesting concept and entertaining.

I don't think it's terrible, I kind of like it. But it's like the writers and creators don't have high hopes for their own work, which is hurting the show. When they give away that many secrets within the first few episodes, it makes it look like they're in a hurry to finish the story before it gets cancelled. The same thing happened to The Cape: What's the point of finishing the show when we all know everything anyway?

That and I wish they'd quit goofing around and get to all the fairy tale, fantasty action I saw in the promotions, but that's just me. No, the flashbacks aren't cutting it (and are mostly people sitting around moping and crying), I want to see Emma and whoever your sending with her pick up a sword/gun/whatever and kick some medival ass.

Agreeing with everything you said. The "big reveals" like Evil Queen's daddy's name, "the real big bad", and whatnot feel pretty meaningless right now until we get more time with these characters. Maybe it's just premiere eps tending to be terrible, but I was really hoping to be drawn into this verse from the beginning.

That said, I'm expecting it to hit its stride soon, and I'm all raring to seriously ship some Emma/Regina and get behind terrible curtain fic about Henry and his two moms. I WANT THIS SHOW TO BE GOOD ENOUGH.
