True, and like I said, if there are other times when Sherlock is super flexible, that's cool- I just can't remember them off the top of my head, lol. But, yeah, using these two instances to ~prove~ he has above-average flexibility would be frusterating. Maybe the parkour (though I know some people who do parkour who aren't as flexible as Sherlock fics tend to make Sherlock) would prove he's a bit more flexible, but not the same I've seen.
If any of that makes sense, I mean. >_>;;

(Anonymous) 2011-11-01 12:50 am (UTC)(link)I do agree that those specific two pictures are a rather bizarre choice considering the others available, and that fics seem to have Sherlock as some kind of hyper-mobile contortionist at times. It's still not a leap to have him being more flexible than most, though. The guy jumps down from a balcony to the floor below, that's strength and flexibility and all sorts. I can't even hop a fence.
Oh, and the fight scene in TBB, he's lunging and flopping about to avoid the sword.
In short, agree that those specific pictures are a very strange example, but he is still quite flexible.
