Wait, wasn't this supposed to come out in December or something?

I'm big on Peter Pan in general, but this secret is making me feel really apprehensive about this show. Mentor/student? Wat is this?

I think OP is referring to the fact that Hook taught Pan sword fighting and seemed to be ordering the Lost Boys around in the trailer?

Yes. I fear all of this. I sort of feel like it's giving me everything I want but somehow it's all wrong anyway. I mean I love that they're Pan/Hook all the way, but . . . gah, I have so much worry.

In the book? As far as I remember, definitely not - we only even know Hook's first name because the author notes it at one point. Peter never refers to Hook as anything but Hook (or insults, of course...)

But it's supposed to be a kind of 'this is how it all started' pre-story, right? That's the impression i got from the trailer. So they *could* have started that way, and then morphed, in Neverland, into what we read in the book.

I think it looks fabulous -can't wait to watch.

Saw the trailer, and Hook almost seems more of the protagonist??

Er, you mean, it seemed like he had a bigger role than in the original books?

Yeah. Kinda like how Magneto was the one to really shine in X-Men First Class.

Honestly? I'm watching it for the part where Pan cuts off Hook's arm.

(which I'm guessing will happening right after the scene at the end of this trailer, lol)
