Seriously, Spy School? Sounds like a geek's heaven.

Being a witch/wizard is a "safe" fantasy, since we know it could never be true (or is it?!?!).

A spy, on the other hand, is a feasible career in real life. Saying you seriously want to be one is like saying that you want to be an astronaut, or a president. Not impossible, but certainly difficult and you're unlikely to be truly qualified.

Eh. I find them at least fun (though would've been much better if they'd actually focused more on spy!adventures and not Teen Girl Mooning Over Boys, as every OTHER teen girl book already spends all their time doing that). Twilight OTOH just bores the crap out of me.

Who says spies are "loldumb"? Wouldn't the likelier explanation be that way more people know about Harry Potter than... whatever this is? I don't know what it is.
