but karkat never really... hated john? i mean he was really really upset and stuff at the beginning but at that point he didn't even KNOW the guy, he was just mad at him for a bunch of stuff that turned out to be not really his fault. then there was the point when he thought they were kismesises (how the fuck do you spell that) but john never really hated him either mainly because john is... bad at hating people....

Well, I think it's obvious that Karkat had a huge hate!crush on John at the beginning. When he realized that John would never reciprocate (as much because of his sexuality as his inability to hate) he backed off, and was able to approach their relationship from a different direction (one of many things I love about Karkat).

and I think the proper plural spelling is "kismises" =)
