Linkara cannot fucking write to save his life. He has no business reviewing this shit, and his ego is the size of Detroit.

He was at an AVGN panel once, and tried his damnedest to make it all about HIMSELF. Man... fuck you, James Rolfe has some talent. Linkara doesn't have an inkling of it. He needs to stop making everything ~ABOUT ME~.

I strongly believe he is the "that guy everyone deals with because it's too much hassle to try and get him to behave decently" of the site.

Haven't people who left the site said that Linkara is the hardest to work with because he's so anal about everything and has a tendency to freak out when things go even minorly wrong or people don't do quite what he wants them to?

He reminds me of those geeks in high school who GO BESERK if you get a tiny fact about their favorite comic or anime wrong. The ones who refuse to have a normal discussion or debate, and instead resort to calling you names or telling you how stupid you are for not ~understanding~ the genius of their favorite series.

Granted, my sources are from a certain image board that shall not be named (so take it as you will), but I've seen more than one thread created by the same supposed TGWTG insider who reveals that during filming of the collaborations, (among many things) La Lovhaug demands his own room, doesn't interact with the others much outside of filming, and doesn't partake when the others drink and smoke- which is fine- but apparently he lectures them on it and annoys the shit out of everyone.

On the last bit: I get that feeling when I'm watching hopr. Honestly, his last two reviews have left me sour. Complain all you want about Ninja Storm having terrible puns and being silly, but it was a call back to the first season. Which was made worse by the fact the 90s were involved. You didn't call that shit out there. Not to mention his beef with Lothor (whom remains one of the most effective villains when it actually came to producing results against the rangers. This is despite him being a cheesy ham).

Also, if you spend half an hour complaining about a season and giving it a recommendation because the story ideas were good even though they failed in execution Yeah, mixed signals there.

Other than that, while he has his ego, he actually seems pretty approachable.

I wouldn't have believed you a while ago and I do still think Lewis is a nice guy, but I was watching a Q&A with him and Doug last month or so. Doug was happy and bouncy and flirty constantly, but the only time Lewis seemed to come alive was when he was bragging about his fangirls calling him a Fetish Fuel Station Attendant. And I also was unimpressed when he responded to criticism once about the fighting in the Vyce arc with just they're pissed because it's late.

i agree that he can't write for shit. as far as i'm concerned, the only ones on that site who can write are nostalgia chick and cinema snob. they should do the next tgwtg anniversary story, because they're the only ones who seem to have some semblance of acting talent, script-writing talent and knowledge on what comedy/film looks like.

No. I love Lindsay so very much, but even she's said she's a horrible actress and doesn't even like being called an actress. Doug and Brad are probably the best actors there.

Lol it's funny... As soon as I posted that, I thought "damn, I wish I wasn't anon so I could edit that". Yes, I agree. She is a good writer, but not much of an actor. The opposite applies to Doug: Good actor, terrible writer.

Don't care for the site, but I love AVGN and have heard of the panel where he tried to take over. That's all I ever needed to know about the guy.

As the person who sat directly behind him at said panel (and was his ride to/from airport at said convention), I would like to state that your assessment of the situation and the gentleman is grossly inaccurate.

He got up *when called upon*, said something self-deprecating (you can't control audience reactions), asked his troll question (I thought it downright hilarious when he told me what he was going to do), then sat down and didn't make a peep throughout the rest of the panel. Yeah, that's making it all about him, alright. Also, at the end of the panel, while all of us were in line for autographs from Mr. Rolfe (SHOCK OF SHOCKS, Lewis didn't get special treatment), Mr. Lovhaug was gracious enough to let me ahead of him in line, and he was insistent upon it. While he "held court" with his fans, he was also nice enough to praise me for helping him out during the week.

He has an ego the size of Detroit, I will give you that. His later writing leaves something to be desired, okay. But your personal assessment of him is completely out of whack. He's human just like everyone else and derps on occasion, but he's a good guy at the very core.
