Ohh, that makes sense. I've seen people make posts specifically to pimp/squee about a particular fandom... maybe you could do a few of those to raise interest? Or have you already tried that?

I do try to raise interest... Some people are willing to look into it, or at least accept that I'm into it - but others just blow it off, so I don't bother talking about it to them. Those, of course, are the people that then make fun of me for being too obsessed with the one series they know. (They're also the people not on LJ, so they don't see my journal entries about them, either.)

It's ironic that secret got posted today, I just made plans with a friend of mine to start watching Fruits Basket, so we can hopefully start talking about that soon.
