Really? From what I've seen of fandom, most people put Iron Man 2 at the bottom, but the other three tend to be fairly evenly distributed in topping people's favourite lists.

That's pretty much how I rank them, too, although Thor and Captain America are pretty close. I liked the first Iron Man movie, but I wasn't bowled over about it like everyone else was, probably because I only saw it on DVD.

Let's be backwards together! We have the exact same line-up.

Iron Man was the only one of these I fell asleep during, so maybe my subconscious agrees.

I've only seen Thor and Iron Man, and I really enjoyed Thor while I couldn't stand Iron Man. So YANA

I'd only swap the Iron Mans on that list, really. I personally loved Thor and Cap.

I always felt like Iron Man 2 was the most hated out of all of those, but maybe I'm wrong.

My line up is the exact same way. I was feeling rather alone about this.

You know what, I can see this partially agree.

I thought RDJ was really charismatic in his Iron Man role, but the whole thing with the terrorist kidnapping was just really weird. And didn't find the plot with either of the villains in the 1st or 2nd movie to really enthrall me.

Thor on the other hand, I thought whole Earth part of it was lackluster (and thankfully I didn't see it as the focus), but I loved the spacey cgi Asgard and watching Loki set this whole plot up to get the throne and impress his dad.

I don't know, maybe villains are just important to me?

My faves are similar, just switch the first two. I liked Cap a little more than Thor but both were very enjoyable. In general, when it comes to characters, I prefer Cap and Thor over Tony.

I haven't seen CA yet (I'm sure I'll love it though) but I loved all of them although IM is probably my fave of them but Thor is running a close 2. I just though Thor was so funny! I don't think any of them are bad. I don't think people who do have really seen bad acting/bad movies before.

Yeeeah, I'd say Iron Man, Thor, Cap, Iron Man 2, personally. (And I'd put X-Men/X2/XMFC before all of them, I think.) But hey, all Avengers are good Avengers!

Mine's Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Iron Man 2.

Thor was my favourite, too. Apparently that's wrong, but we'll be wrong together, OP!

Mine is Thor, IM, Cap, IM2. But I just really like Tony Stark. Cap is actually a better movie than IM all around.

Nothing wrong with this! For my own ranking, I'd switch the last two as I liked the first Iron Man marginally more than the second. Totally agree with the order of the first two though!

Well, I'm one of those weird people who enjoyed Iron Man 2 more than Iron Man - I just really don't like terrorist plotlines at all. In general, I think Thor was the best film movie plotwise, but I just love Cap and Iron Man so much that I can't rate it as my favourite.

(Also, no love for the Hulk? :( )

(ok, maybe I love the first iron man a little bit more, but that's just because Tony is my favourite marvel character, and also I have a mecha kink big as an house lol)

I rank them like that as well.

I've only seen Thor and the first Iron Man but I really didn't think Iron Man lived up to the hype. That's just my personal taste I guess. But I think fandom is pretty keen on Thor?
