I don't know about the OP's opinion, but I've seen a lot of people complaining because she was made too pretty in U3, to the point where she barely looks like her U1-U2 self.

er, compared to the impossibly good looking videogame characters that you often see, I mean

if she was a real person I would consider her attractive, it's just that you don't usually see faces with purposeful flaws in fictional characters for things like this

I haven't kept up with the newer videogames, is more realism in levels of attractiveness a new trend?

Yes. It is. Especially when the games base the character's face on their VA. Which is something I love, btw =D

If you're interested, Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed do that. L4D2 is especially successful in the whole VA=character thing. It's really neat! I don't know about more recent games though, I've been only playing older ones lately.

Haven't played the game yet, but according to the gameplay clips in this interview thingy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlcLlIiZjsI), which also shows what her VA looks like, I'm gonna say she wasn't changed as much as that promo image suggests. A little makeup and some tweaking to the eyes that make her resemble her actress slightly more, and probably a general model/graphics shift since it looks like it affected Drake, too. But I don't think they were like "omg she's fug let's overhaul her."

I'm just pissed off because the change is so unnecessary. she was perfectly pretty in the previous games, but now her face looks too cute to me.
