?? That doesn't look like make-up. That shade of pink is an indicator that the person is healthy or has eaten well recently.

It's a shame I have naturally quite pale lips, they never look a nice pink no matter how healthy my eating habits are. ;__; Yay for lipstick, I guess?

Do you live in a heavily polluted area, or have any mild respiratory problems? Low oxygenation also causes pale lips. You might not even notice that you are not breathing well, because you are still getting enough oxygen into your blood to function more or less well, just not the ideal amount.

Yes, pollution could indeed be the cause, at least partly, since it's something my dentist has been asking me as well before I had a procedure under full anaesthesia. I feel there could be a connection there. Thank you, anon.

It's frustrating to have pale lips (well, I guess it could be worse, right?) as I already suffer from low self-esteem. >.<;

I had the same problem, actually. (Polluted part of the city here. :V)

I always had pale lips and kept feeling light-headed in Physical Education class - I couldn't run more than two or three minutes before I started getting dizzy and like I couldn't breathe.

Drinking freshly made orange juice helped me a lot. Also, I sometimes put the palm of my hands on my back -roughly where the lungs are situated- and I think that helped warm them up a little and work better too, oh, and also on the chest, where the bronchi are.

I'm certain there are other little things that can help you, don't worry!

And for what it's worth, I don't find pale lips and more or less attractive than redder lips. :V
