I would actually read a book/watch a film with exactly that premise. Especially if the fictional character was completely confused and the fan screaming in terror because a naked person suddenly appeared in their room late at night.

If they appeared naked in my room, I'd just offer them clothes and stare at the floor until they were dressed. I'd probably be too embarrassed to make a move. What if they found my enormous, poorly concealed porn collection featuring them/everything in it?

On the one hand, I completely agree with this secret.

On the other hand, I do think there's a factor that would have to be controlled for: the perception of consequences.

For example, I don't care if Aphrodite Goddess of Love appears in my bedroom and I want her like burning, there is no possible way on this Earth I would have homosexual sex. Hell, I wouldn't even have heterosexual sex with some character who just appeared in my room. The implications and aftermath of either are just not a price I would be willing to pay. :/
