i think i only have half an idea of who you're talking about, but ):

The awesome thing about that kind of BNF (I'm assuming you're talking about one), is that the fandom will eventually slow down and die (or at least become so small that most people will jump ship and the BNF won't have that much fun lording everyone over anymore), and they will either have to fade into obscurity or jump into a new one, but they'll eventually get older and unable to keep up so effectively. They'll slip, they'll lose steam.

Eventually, no one will have to put up with their negativity anymore. :)

In the mean time, you can always split off into a different faction and bring other people who think like you and have fun separately.

You know, I went hunting, and what they did doesn't look very much like a flounce...I've got one 'come-back post' that's a little eyebrow raising, but since someone was reposting it from behind a membership lock, I'm not gonna take it as gospel.

THANK YOU. I've been rolling my eyes at rasengan for so long now. Doesn't she realize that she (and people like her) are a part of the problem she's trying to ~save~ the fandom from? Spoiled, entitled SasuNaruSasu shippers, ugh.
