Overpopulation IS a problem. But I like babies. And I like babyfic. And I can enjoy that without it being an issue on the world. Liking something in fiction doesn't mean that it'll be the case in real life. I'm not going to go out and have a ton of babies just because I like to read about my favorite characters having babies.

Also, limiting the number of kids people have? How about more birth control and reproductive rights? 40% of the world's pregnancies are unplanned.

Fucking YES. Thank you. And if the religious conservatives all over the world would get over their issue with birth control, maybe we could curb a lot of these unwanted pregnancies.

With properly-used birth control, pregnancy really doesn't happen unless you want it to.

This, seriously. A lot of parents - particularly in countries with growing populations - would've loved more access to birth control, maybe not necessarily to never be parents but to have one or two children instead of five or six.
