Who is Mel? I don't recognize those two guys or what fandom it is, so google won't be of much help here

The fandom is Flight of the Conchords, which is a two-person band that also had a TV show of the same name where they played characters based on themselves. Mel is a character in the TV show who is the band's overly-obsessed only fan, and also ships the two guys.
