To the "I f-ing hate all kids" girl (or guy):

People like you are the reason most normal people think online fandom types are maladjusted weirdoes and, sadly, I'm starting to think most people are more often than not right.

I neither have kids nor do I plan to, but you creeps who like to throw around the "breeder" to label when referring to parents are pathetic. I can't help but believe much of it stems from an infantile desire to stick it to your own parents who, unless they were horrible abusers, do not deserve it.

I'm not arguing that overpopulation isn't a serious issue, but you do realize that every single other person on this planet, regardless of age, has just as much a right to be here as you, right? Or are you really that much of a narcissist?

People who pop kids out and dote so much on tehbaaaybeees deserve to be called breeders, because...well, they are. These people revolve their whole life around kids and having kids. They think that popping 'em out is teh highest and most precious thing EVER in life. Their purpose is to breed, and nothing else. Even if they claim they have other ambitions in life, if they want kids...then their other ambitions are /for/ their kids.

Then, if you get someone who hates kids and doesn't want them, you get a whole page of replies in telliv you bs about how WRONG you are since breeders can't comprehend anything other than breeding.

There is also tons of "breeder bingo" going on already, and you just said another one in calling peep like me narcissistic. People often say, "people who don't want kids are selfish!" when quite frankly, it's the other way around. We -choose- not to have kids. We choose not to engage in a life style of screaming children and diaper smell 24/7, and yet breeders force us to put up with their maggots because, "oh, it's normal...and you're the abnormal one for nit having kids, so DEAL with my child screeching and smelling like shit since children don't have to behave." The parents and their kids don't have any respect for other people's wishes if quietness and personal space, but rather you (the childfree) are -expected- to just put up with their inappropriate howling kid, and accept when you get pushed out of the way by an obnoxious sized carriage.

These breeders just keep popping them out, adding more people to the planet, becusd they want kids and can't think of anything else go do for the world. They are just adding more people to add to resource consumption and pollution.

So tell me, how are childfree people the selfish ones?

Yawn to your "breeder bingo," considering I haven't "bred" and probably never will. I spent a few years helping take care of my mom as she was dying prematurely of cancer, and currently am the caregiver for my ailing grandmother.

I don't care if you don't want kids. At this point, I don't want them, either. I used to assume I would, but I've gotten burnt out on caregiving and can't see myself choosing to start it all over again. At the same time, I don't hate children, I don't get angry when my friends start having them, and I certainly don't feel the need to refer to other, smaller human beings as "maggots," as though they weren't even real people. If people with kids don't understand where I'm coming from, I mostly chalk it up to different life experiences and different personalities. Why do you feel the need to get so defensive?

Ill-behaved children with irresponsible parents are infuriating, of course, but the header of your comment is "I f-ing hate all kids." Yeah, if you're carrying around that much hatred it's probably best you're not "breeding," but don't be surprised if your personality doesn't end up winning you any popularity contests in real life. By your standards my own mother (may she rest in peace) would probably be yet another worthless "breeder," because her kids were more important to her than anything, and yet, people like you could stand to learn quite a bit from a positive, loving nature like hers. If you've never been the recipient of that kind of affection, then I sincerely pity you. If you have, then you're just a pretentious asshole.

And again, you can yammer on and on about overpopulation and resource consumption all you want, but the fact remains that you choose to keep adding to it, just by continuing to exist (and at a first-world level, at that), which makes me suspect you'd be just as willing as anyone else to add to the surplus population if you happened to like the little anklebiters. Since you don't, environmentalism offers you a convenient cloak of smug self-righteousness.

And here we have another bingo. "People without children can never experience real love!"

You assume just because I hate kids that I'm a horrible person...then again, that IS what most people feel: if you hate kids, you are a scum bag, pretentious asshole.

I'm happily married and in a well paid job as a team leader who is rather liked. I just choose not to give my attention/help to kids as I feel they are not as deserving Nd innocent as everyone makes them out to be. People have told me in real life that no one has ever been as kind to them or helped them as much as I have in their lives. I give my attention and aide to those whom deserve it...and before you spout at me something along the lines of, "that's not foryou to decide as to who deserves help or not"...well yeah, it is.

Anyone with basic intelligence can observe human behavior and interaction (again I'm talking about -off- Internet) and be able to see general human decentcy and manners. I have seen that kids and their parents are the worst at being decent and showing. Respect for those around them, and they get enough free shit/help thrown at them just for popping some turds.

And it's hilarious that you talk about parents and kids as unable to be decent when... well look at your posts. LOL. Wow. It's been a while since I've read somethoing so utterly pathetic, and this is f'in f!s.

You're not a horrible disgusting person because you don't want kids. You're just a horrible disgusting person who -happens- to not want kids. Parents and kids can be horrible or brats, and childfree people can be horrible (and brats)- and you're a shining example of that for all the world to see. Being horrible and disgusting is something which crosses almost every boundary and every demographic after all whether religious, political or whatever group you could name. -wipes fake patriotic tear away-.
