While I don't really notice shows, movies, and books going 'baby crazy', I have to agree with setting a population control. Everytime I see a fictional setting where there is a population control set (Terra Nova is the latest one), I can't help but think 'yeah, that's not a bad idea'.

Especially when we have stupid TV shows that actually seem to be encouraging having lots of of babies (Kate Plus Eight and others) and we give so much care and attention to families that spawn 10+ kids. If they can't afford to take care of all those kids, they should stop having them, not get their own TV show to pay for their family!
