In before shitstorm!Okay, I understand being annoyed by it, it'd be nice if people could appreciate friendships and not automatically see OMG SECKS!!! especially if a close relationship is so platonic it hurts. But subtext is in the eye of the beholder, and one beholder isn't superior or inferior for seeing or not seeing it. Just because two characters are Just Friends doesn't mean people are stupid for thinking they could be more.Also, people do that with heterosexual friendships, too. Mulder/Scully, anyone?
